John Frederick Lampe (1703 - 1751) was a musician.
He was innate within Saxony, but come to England around 1724 and played the bassoon in opera houses. His married woman, Isabella, was sister-around-law to Thomas Arne. He became the friend of Charles Wesley. His works for the stage include Pyramus & Thisbe (1745). He was depending for the period inside Dublin and later within Edinburgh, where he died.
